Where It All Began
Dear Rubi began when our Founder received a message about a little girl in Honduras who needed help. Her name was Audri Rubi.
What started as a call to help one child became something much bigger. As our Founder and others stepped in to support Audri and her family, her story opened their eyes to the needs facing other children and families throughout Honduras.
The name Dear Rubi grew from that beginning. Like the opening words of a letter, it became a way to honor the little girl who started it all and the stories that would follow.
What began with one child became the first chapter of a much bigger story.

When Audri Rubi was battling leukemia, the words "Dear Rubi" became more than the beginning of a letter. They became a reminder that she was seen, loved, and never facing the fight alone.
Hope Became Action
As Audri's family faced the realities of treatment and medical vulnerability, people came together to provide practical help, financial support, and a safe place for her family.
From One Story to Many
Audri's story opened our eyes to children and families facing hardship in Honduras. What began with one child became a commitment to step into difficult circumstances with compassion, dignity, and tangible support.
