Behind every photograph is more than a face. There is a family. A challenge. A dream. A future worth fighting for.
Through the generosity of its supporters, Dear Rubi Foundation has helped children and families facing medical needs, housing challenges, food insecurity, educational needs, transportation barriers, and other difficult circumstances.
Each story is different. Each child is different. Together, these chapters remind us why Dear Rubi exists and why there is always another story worth showing up for.
What We Do
Dear Rubi fills the gap when hardship changes a child's story. We work on the ground in Honduras, partnering with local families, medical providers, and community leaders.
Medical Care
Walking alongside children and families through illness — covering consultations, treatments, medications, and the costs that stand between a child and healing.
Children & Families
Providing education support, essential needs, and practical care so that every child has what they need to grow and every family feels less alone.
Community Projects
Building and improving the spaces where communities gather — from safe shelters to community centers that serve children and families for generations.
Mission Teams
Welcoming volunteers who come to serve alongside local families, bringing hands, hearts, and resources directly to the communities that need them most.

Chapter Five and Beyond
We Don't Know What the Next Chapter Will Be.
Maybe it will be a child who needs a wheelchair. A family who needs a safe place to live. A patient who needs medication. A classroom that needs supplies. Or a community with a need we haven't encountered yet.
We don't know which story will find its way to Dear Rubi next. We simply want to be ready when it does.
